Poulin Family at Drakes Island

Recently I took some portraits for the Poulin family at one of their favorite spots, Drakes Island, in Wells, Maine. It was a chilly day, (December in Maine, on the beach!) but you can't beat the gorgeous light in the afternoon sun by the ocean. They bravely took off their jackets and dealt with the wind, and then we had some fun!  Check out some of the images from our mini session:

Recently I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family, and had so much fun taking their pictures!  Usually I try to think of ways to get kids to smile and laugh, but they had ME laughing. So cute! By the way, these were taken right in their backyard, and in their home.  Just goes to show you, a special location isn't always necessary to get beautiful images!

Fun Fact: They are all good looking, and they can all break boards with their bare hands.

Mr. B  is a 5th degree black belt, and also one of the most patient teachers I have ever seen.

This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing an amazing family at Rye Beach.   It was a gorgeous, sunny day, not too windy, and surprisingly warm.  The Boisvert's  are not only  wonderful people, they are all black belts, and own Mr. B's Tae Kwon Do.  One of the great things about this school is that it is family owned, and they encourage other families to train together, just like theirs.  A great way to stay active, have fun, and learn something new.  Adam is a 5th degree, his wife Shannon is a 4th degree, their daughter Alexis is a 2nd degree, and their daughter Aliya is a 1st degree black belt.  Check out some of their pictures!
